In a world where humanity's vast knowledge reservoir is growing daily, a need has emerged to reevaluate our relationship with wisdom. As the name suggests, Applied Philosophy is our effort to bridge the gap between the abstract principles of philosophy and the concrete world of practical affairs.
At its core, the primary goal of Applied Philosophy is to make philosophy accessible, useful, and transformative in daily life. We aim to illuminate how the timeless truths of philosophy can be applied to real-world issues—whether personal, societal, or global.
With this platform, we will distill philosophical concepts, ideas, and ethical paradigms, offering insight and understanding in a way that empowers people to engage with these notions effectively. Rather than confining philosophy to the realm of academia, we are committed to demystifying it, thereby enabling people to utilize its wisdom to solve problems, make decisions, and construct meaningful, ethically-informed lives.
Applied Philosophy does not merely deal with theoretical concepts; instead, we act as guides, providing users with tools to navigate life's complexities. By integrating the wisdom of the ancients with contemporary insights, our platform will provide a compass for those seeking to make sense of the world and their place within it.
We envision Applied Philosophy as an arena of exploration, where every individual can engage in dialogue, raise challenging questions, and generate ideas that will help shape the world's future. By making philosophy a living, breathing part of our daily existence, we strive to foster a culture of critical thinking, compassion, and conscientious action.
In essence, our mission is to help individuals understand that philosophy isn't a remote discipline, but rather a practical guide that can help us lead better, more fulfilling lives. As we apply philosophy to our world, we cultivate the wisdom to shape a more enlightened, compassionate, and thoughtful society.
Join us on this journey, as we delve into the treasures of philosophical wisdom and strive to apply them to our interconnected lives. Together, we can enlighten our minds, ennoble our spirits, and strive to make a lasting positive impact on the world.
Steve Ewing, an innovative thought leader and strategic problem-solver with deep expertise across a variety of fields, originated from a small suburban town in New Jersey.
His academic journey was forged under the mentorship of exceptional public school teachers, offering him a well-rounded foundation in a broad spectrum of advanced courses including physics, biology, chemistry, English, and statistics.
In 1999, he decided to advance his education at Northeastern University, attracted by the vibrant cityscape of Boston and Northeastern's distinctive, non-traditional admissions approach - a refreshing alternative for his neurodiverse mind.
Originally a Biochemistry major, Steve soon recognized his desire for a more philosophical underpinning to his studies.
A particular cosmic brain fart came to him in the late Professor Kerry Dugan's dialectical style intro to philosophy course. He couldn't stop thinking about it so him pivoted to Philosophy, earning top grades, actively participating in seminars, and even journeying to Fordham University in New York City to engage in insightful discussions about Heidegger in his senior year.
Upon his graduation in 2003, Steve found himself at an academic crossroads. While intrigued by philosophy's intellectual allure, the legal world, particularly jurisprudence as expounded in Dworkin's 'Sovereign Virtue', also beckoned him. And he could feel his father's pressure to get a "real job." So instead of committing he decided on a unique detour: spending a year in South Korea teaching English, thereby gaining an invaluable cultural immersion experience. During this time, he also took the LSAT, attaining an impressive score.
Upon returning to the United States, Steve sampled life in several law firms, hoping to get a clear insight into the profession he was considering. He quickly discovered that the rigid, precedent-based nature of legal work did not align with his inclination for innovative, groundbreaking endeavors.
Unfazed, Steve shifted his focus towards the fascinating field of neuroscience, cognition, and decision-making, returning to Rutgers University to further his studies. He firmed up his Ontology and when traditional funding routes were exhausted and the academy proved unreceptive to his ideas Steve took his relentless intellectual curiosity into the corporate sphere.
He embarked on his corporate journey as a Market Analyst at Hankook Tire, dedicating five years to mastering every tool and program at his disposal. He then transitioned to Pirelli as a Product Manager, refining his skills in forecasting and data analytics. After overhauling and reviving Kumho's operations in Atlanta, he faced an unexpected period of unemployment.
Rather than being deterred, this setback spurred Steve to further growth. He dived headfirst into data science, self-teaching programming languages like R and Python, earning a multitude of certifications, and ultimately acquiring a Micro Master's in Analytics from Georgia Tech.
Equipped with these new skills, he stepped into a role at DoMyOwn as their Business Intelligence Manager in 2018.
Since then, Steve has been automating all the work in the 'patent office,' allowing him ample time to read and cultivate his ideas. Today, he's leveraging cutting-edge AI technology to bring his multifaceted ideas to life.
Steve Ewing's journey exemplifies his unwavering dedication to knowledge, adaptability, and passion for innovation, creating a unique fusion of philosophy, law, business, and data science. His vast knowledge and insatiable curiosity consistently push him towards the frontier of his field, always in search of new challenges and perspectives. He believes in seeking Wisdom everywhere.

Given the profound and fundamental nature of the issues that our Applied Philosophy services address, the fee is, indeed, an exceptional value. Allow me to outline the reasons why:
When considered against these factors, the price of $x/hr is not merely a cost, but rather, an investment—a gateway to insights that deepen understanding, guide decision-making, and shape the long-term trajectory of technological and personal development. From this perspective, the rate for our Applied Philosophy services is indeed a remarkable bargain.
Our mission is to cultivate a space for rigorous intellectual exploration, where philosophy meets practical reality, fostering understanding, dialogue, and the nuanced exploration of technology, consciousness, and the human condition.
We hope to offer a variety of programs that encourage thoughtful engagement with philosophical concepts, including discussions, lectures, workshops, and collaborative projects that intertwine philosophy with technology, consciousness studies, and social discourse.
Our impact lies in fostering an informed, thoughtful community that brings philosophical understanding to bear on the evolving complexities of technology and consciousness, thereby influencing both academic discourse and practical applications.
